Who we are
Jesus Family Ministry has drawn its inspiration from the missionaries who have sacrificed all the comforts of the world and took the burden of the gospel on their shoulders. There are many unknown missionaries and evangelists who hardly receive any support. We as Jesus Family Ministry extend our support to many missionaries under the poverty line especially in India, Sri Lanka, Haiti, Dominic Republic and Guyana.
The mission and burden of Jesus Family Ministry is to help and support those poor missionaries and evangelists. As the mission field grows we also support the missionaries to find a suitable place of worship and offer them the basic needs. By the grace of God, we have established vision oriented missions like: Church Planting, Pastor’s Training, Boy’s Home, Educational Support, Mission Schools, Orphan Support, Old Age Shelter Home, Widow Support, Helping Hands, Tailoring School, Evangelical Ministry, Missionary Support, Bible College, Revival Meetings, Children’s Ministry, Youth Ministry, Bible Distribution, Chaplain Training, Food Pantry, Media Ministry.
God has inspired us to reach South American countries like Dominic Republic and Haiti. We constructed four schools in Haiti and there are currently 650 students who are receiving free education. Many of the impoverished children are receiving an education for the first time in their life. In Dominic Republic, a city called Barahona, on the border of Haiti, we established seven churches. City of Jersey City, which is in the state of New Jersey is known for landmark attractions, unmatched quality of the city’s community, a fast-expanding skyline, a collection of schools, and an integrated transportation system. Boasting one of the most diverse populations in the United States, Jersey City is host to an array of ethnicities and cultures. Living up to its legacy as a Tapestry of Nations, the City is composed of substantial communities of Jewish, Italian, Indian, Irish, Puerto Rican, African, Arab, and Asian(about 20%) decent. The total population is about 250,000 of which 1/3 rd is foreign born with very significant presence of Indian and Tamil people as evident by a visit to Indian square in Journal square.
Jersey City’s ideal location and close proximity to New York City has also contributed to the development of its own impressive skyline which includes the Goldman Sachs building, which is one of the 200 Tallest Buildings in the World. Transportation is readily available here with a 24-hour Train service, the NY/NJ Waterway, Light Rail system, and major highways. Jersey City’s economic sphere is now one of the fastest-growing as many Fortune-500 corporations continue to bring their businesses to the city.
Jersey City’s Journal Square is a major commercial district. Newport Mall is a regional shopping area.
